you may say I'm nostalgic and maybe I am, a little. But I was often thinking about my past years in Israel, when I studied anthropology, with all human and professional encounters with the bedouins in the southern areas, with the hundreds of little cups of coffee, and small glasses of tea. The coffee, often spiced with cardamome... I wanted to share these experiences with you, and with this jelly I think we're getting quite close to the real thing..... nobody knows it yet, but this year it will take the first prize in the jam competition of the "Semaine du goût" in Trémolat. It has all it needs to be a winner. nothing more refreshing than mint tea. They used to drink it hot on hot days, but a large mug of ice cold mint tea is the greatest gift ever given to a thirsty man in the desert.This jelly is made with the best Darjeeling tea leaves and a mixture of moroccan mint and peppermint leaves from my garden. It will be good for breakfast or decorating a desert, but the best will be a spoonful from time to time, just to enjoy the freshness of this great stuff.... | ||

coming from India, Tchaï is very rich in flavours . Among all spices added, you'll find ginger, anis, pepper,coriandre,nutmeg....Thus beverage is great to start a winter day.
